U SPORTS Women’s Volleyball Championship

All matches at the 2024 U SPORTS Women’s Volleyball Championship will be take place in Burridge Gymnasium at the David Braley Athletic Centre, located at 1280 Main Street W in Hamilton, Ontario. 

The McMaster Marauders varsity basketball, volleyball and wrestling teams all call Burridge Gymnasium home, which has seating for more than 2,200 spectators.

Parking

  • McMaster University has a number of parking lots on campus. Parking is $20.00 a day from 6:30am to 4:00pm on weekdays and an $8.00 flat rate from 4:00pm onwards. Weekend parking is an $8.00 flat rate with discounted event parking rates $5.00 in advertised lots.
  • Street parking is available on surrounding streets.
     

Concessions

  • Concession service will be provided by McMaster Hospitality Services which will be located on the Mezzanine level for the duration of the championship.
  • Please note: McMaster University is a cashless campus.
     

Spectator Rules and Regulations

Ontario University Athletics, its member institutions and their teams are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all fans, in the stadium, gymnasium, arena and university campus facilities. We want all fans attending OUA games to enjoy the experience in a responsible fashion. When attending a game, spectators are required to refrain from the following behaviours: 

  • Behaviour that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature;
  • Interference with the progress of the game, including throwing objects and/or unauthorized persons on the field of play;
  • Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment that results in irresponsible behaviour;
  • Foul and/or abusive language and/or obscene gestures;
  • Verbal or physical harassment of opposing team fans, officials, opponents or other person;
  • Intentionally sitting or standing in areas which obstruct the passage and/or view of other spectators;
  • Failing to follow instructions of university staff.

 

Event patrons are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests. University staff will promptly intervene to support an environment where event patrons, their guests and other fans can enjoy the event free from the above behaviour. Event patrons and guests who violate these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund and loss of ticket privileges for future games.
