Men’s Saturday Volleyball

It’s the final Saturday of the season when all six teams see action on the same day.

Camosun Chargers @ VIU Mariners – Saturday February 11, 3:00pm | WATCH HERE

The Chargers are looking for a seasonal series sweep on Saturday afternoon after a 3-0 victory over the Mariners on Thursday evening at Camosun. They took the match 25-10, 25-21, 27-25 to extend their eight match winning streak.

With the loss and a Douglas Royals victory the Mariners are tied for third spot in the standings but do have a match in hand. They will play their final three matches at home, starting with the tilt against the Chargers.

COTR Avalanche @ CBC Bearcats – Saturday February 11, 8:00pm | WATCH HERE

For the second straight night the Avs and Cats will battle, but this time its for the final time this season. Friday night the visiting Avalanche scored a four-set victory winning 25-13, 22-25, 25-18, 25-15. Regardless of the outcome they will finish second in the standings and will face either the Mariners or Royals in a semi-final in two weeks.

This will be the final home match for the Bearcats of the season.

Capilano Blues @ Douglas Royals – Saturday February 11, 8:00pm | WATCH HERE

The Royals swept the Blues on Friday night 25-20, 25-23, 25-19 to move into a third place tie with the VIU Mariners. They have an opportunity to score the seasonal series sweep with a victory on Saturday.

The Blues will look to play spoiler on Saturday in their final road match of the season.
