A Busy Saturday

It’s a busy Saturday in women’s PACWEST volleyball with all six teams in action. As a matter of fact it’s the last Saturday this season in which all teams will play on the same day.

Camosun Chargers @ VIU Mariners – Saturday February 11, 1:00pm | WATCH HERE

After a shocking three-set sweep by the Chargers on Thursday night, handing the Mariners their first loss of the season, the teams will collide again. This time the scene has shifted to Nanaimo.

Back on Thursday night, which was also Senior Night at Camosun the Chargers won 26-24, 27-25 and 25-23. That win kept them in second place by four points.

Capilano Blues @ Douglas Royals – Saturday February 11, 6:00pm | WATCH HERE

The Royals kept pace with the Camosun Chargers on Friday night thanks to a 3-0 sweep of the Blues; 25-14, 25-13, 25-16. The Royals remain four-points back in the battle for second spot in the standings. That said, regardless the Royals know they will face the Chargers in a PACWEST semi-final in two weeks.

COTR Avalanche @ CBC Bearcats – Saturday February 11, 6:00pm | WATCH HERE

Friday night the Avalanche scored a three-set sweep at CBC winning 25-23, 27-25 and 25-13. The victory is just their second of the New Year and will look to keep that momentum going on Saturday night.

For the Bearcats in their final home match of the season and will honour their graduating players.
