Men’s volleyball adds libero Kye Young to Class of ’23

The Warriors men’s volleyball team is excited to add libero Kye Young to their recruiting class of 2023-24. Young is a memember of the Pakmen Volleyball Club and Team Ontario. 

“Kye is the best libero graduating in Ontario and we are very excited to have him committed to our program,” said head coach Shayne White. “He is extremely skilled and technical in the position while being a very good teammate and competitor.  Kye comes from a great family and his attitude and work ethic reflects that daily. We feel that we are loaded with talent and skill in the libero position with Kye joining first year libero Will McIntyre. They will solidify our training, preparation and our success in the OUA.”

“I’m excited to announce my commitment to the University of Waterloo to continue my athletic and academic career,” said Young. “I am beyond greateful to my family, coaches, teammates and friends who have been a part of my journey.”
