PLOUFFE AND BOLDON NAMED CANADA WEST ALL-STARS

LANGLEY, British Columbia– Trinity Western’s Kaylee Plouffe and Maryn Boldon have been named Canada West All-Stars after Trinity Western’s 19-5, fourth-place, regular season. Third-year middle Plouffe (Sherwood Park, Alta.) was named a first-team all-star, while second-year outside Boldon (Okotoks, Alta.) was named a second-team all-star.
 
Plouffe finished the season leading Canada West in hitting percentage (.404), and blocks-per-set (1.32), was second in total points (420.5), third in points-per-set (4.5), fourth in total kills (316), fifth in kills-per-set (3.36), and was eighth in service aces-per-set (0.41). Bodon finished fourth in kills-per-set (3.54), fifth in total kills (315), and fifth in total points (360).

About Spartan Athletics
As official members of U SPORTS, the Spartans currently compete in 13 sports in the Canada West conference, including women’s and men’s soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, cross country, and track & field, as well as women’s rugby sevens. TWU also competes as an independent team in men’s rugby and women’s and men’s disc golf. Since TWU entered U SPORTS in 1999, the Spartans have won 14 U SPORTS team championships and 33 Canada West team championships.
