Queen’s Women’s Volleyball lose on the road to Brock

Queen’s Women’s Volleyball fell to the Brock Badgers 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-19) Saturday night in St. Catharines, Ont.

All three sets were competitive, but the Gaels ultimately fell in straight sets to the Badgers, who sit atop the OUA standings.

Hannah Duchesneau led Queen’s with 10 kills and added seven blocks.

Amanda Siksna finished with eight blocks for Queen’s while Shea Baker recorded 23 assists and Holly Biasi added 12 digs in the loss.

With the loss, Queen’s record fell to 11-7. The Gaels currently sit sixth in the OUA standings.

Queen’s will close out their regular season next weekend, taking on the Waterloo Warriors in a double header, Friday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 18 in Waterloo, Ont.
