KINGSTON, Ont. (Feb. 25, 2022) – Queen’s Men’s Volleyball defeated the RMC Paladins 3-1 (25-15, 21-25, 25-16, 25-17) Friday night at the ARC.
The win was Queen’s (No. 5) second in a row and improved their record to 7-1 on the season. The Gaels are tied for second in the OUA East with the Nipissing Lakers, just a half game behind the Toronto Varsity Blues (8-1). RMC fell to 4-5 with the loss.
Erik Siksna (Markham, Ont.) led Queen’s with a game-high 12 kills while Lachlan McBride (Vancouver, B.C.) and Julian Krygel (Dundas, Ont.) added nine kills each. Krygel also had a game-high five aces and six blocks.
Liam Wilson (Toronto, Ont.) recorded 40 assists in the winning effort Lukas Kaufman (Stratforc, Ont.) had 11 digs.
The Gaels are Paladins will meet again Sunday at 4 p.m at RMC.
