KAMLOOPS – The Thompson Rivers WolfPack women’s volleyball team will return to the friendly confines of the TCC this weekend, as they start a three-week homestand with a pair of games against the MacEwan Griffins.

The WolfPack (3-9) will host the Griffins (9-5) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The games will start a span for the ‘Pack that will also see them host home games on Jan. 19-20 and 25-26.
 
TRU started the second half of their season strongly last weekend, earning a split on the road in Winnipeg. The ‘Pack picked up a 3-1 win on Friday before falling 3-1 on Saturday in a pair of close games with a Winnipeg team that is in a playoff spot. Setter Libby Meldrum was named the WolfPack Athlete of the Week after starring in Winnipeg with 106 assists between the two games.
 
MacEwan comes into the weekend on the heels of a pair of 3-1 losses to the Manitoba Bisons. Those losses brought an end to the six-game winning streak that MacEwan had been on.

The Griffins won both games that these teams played last season.
