Pixellot Camera Pilot a Success at EY Centre Events

This past weekend the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) piloted state-of-the-art Pixellot cameras as part of it’s partnership with CBC to bring youth volleyball to viewers across the country.

The Provincial Cup and Fall Classic events held at EY Centre provided a great opportunity to test out the capabilities of the equipment and work through any technical issues ahead of the planned large scale usage at the 2024 Ontario Championships.

Overall the pilot was a success with over 100 games being captured and uploaded to be viewed at CBC.watch.pixellot.tv

Viewers are currently able to sign up for free to watch the games on-demand.

This is a large step forward in growing the sport of volleyball in Ontario and the OVA is proud to be able to bring these games into the homes of the great many family and friends of the athletes involved who were unable to attend the games in person, or just want to watch again.

The OVA would like to thank Pixellot and the CBC for their ongoing efforts in bringing youth sports to a greater audience and for their technical support throughout this process.

If you are interested in getting one of these cameras for your club, please contact OVA’s Manager of Marketing, Communications & Community Outreach, Kerish Maharaj
