Club Team: Canuck Volleyball club/ Canada West Volleyball club
Position: Outside Hitter
First year with Maccabi: 2018
When did you start playing/coaching?
Started playing when I was in grade 7.
What are your best non-volleyball memories from competing at the Maccabi Games?
The best memories I have from the Maccabi games are having the privilege to be the one of the flag bearers at the most recent games with my twin brother Nick, and Molly Tissenbaum.
What was your favorite experience with the team before or after the games?
My favorite experience with the team would have to be all the sight-seeing activities that we were able to do with the entire delegation! Not only did I get to spend quality time with my team outside of volleyball, but I met people from all around Canada who were sharing in this experience together.
What is your message to potential future athletes that might be interested in participating?
Keep an open mind. Israel is definitely a bucket list destination to visit and participating in this event will enable you to make connections not only in Canada, but with people all around the world. Not to mention getting the experience of competing at an international competition against very skilled international players!
