Helping players connect with the Team Ontario pathway

The 2021, Team Ontario programs have been adapted in response to the pandemic context and limited in-person training opportunities are available.

The Team Ontario Academy (TOA) online program was created in order to make sure athletes and coaches still have a chance to stay connected to both the indoor and beach Team Ontario athlete development pathways. TOA will be particularly helpful at keeping 14U and 15U athletes engaged with Team Ontario in the absence of the Regional and the Team Ontario White programs.

A senior group is also available for 16U and older athletes.

TOA will offer support to athletes based on the Athlete Insights program. Coaches and sport science professionals will lead live sessions with athletes to help them further their understanding of concepts related to technical, psychological, physical and life skills. All programming will be done virtually.

This virtual program will be a great complement to any in-person training opportunity athletes may have access to this summer, whether indoors, on the beach or on grass.

You can secure your spot right now on the Team Ontario website

If you’d like to find out more, visit the Team Ontario website or join us on Thursday, June 3 at 7:00 p.m. for an information session about the program.
