Golden Bears remain in top spot, Lancers ride into Top 10

The Alberta Golden Bears remain atop the U SPORTS men’s volleyball Top 10, having held down the top spot in the weekly ranking all season.

The Windsor Lancers cracked the Top 10 this week, entering at No. 6, with back-to-back wins against the Nipissing Lakers over the weekend.

The top five spots remain unchanged, with the McMaster Marauders (16-0), Sherbrooke Vert & Or (12-1), Trinity Western Spartans (15-5), and Mount Royal Cougars (15-5) all holding steady. The No. 7 Montreal Carabins (10-4) drop a spot as the No. 8 Brandon Bobcats (12-8) move up one. The Queen’s Gaels (10-6) slipped two spots to take the No. 9 position, while Saskatchewan (13-7) fell from No. 8 to No. 10, rounding out the Top 10 for this week.

This week has one Top 10 matchup on the schedule as No. 5 Mount Royal will host a series against No. 8 Brandon on Friday and Saturday.
