The Manitoba Bisons picked up a straight sets win over the Bobcats Friday night 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-12).
The Bisons were led by second year Ella Gray’s .473 hitting percentage, 11 kills and one block.
The Bobcats were led by Keely Anderson’s team-high 13.5 points, which came on eight kills, one assisted block and a match-high five aces.
The win improves Manitoba’s record to 4-4 while the Bobcats remain winless at 0-7.
The two teams will meet again Saturday afternoon in Winnipeg at the University of Manitoba’s Investors Group Athletic Centre.
