TORONTO – The TMU Bold women’s volleyball 2024 recruiting class is starting to come together, with the addition of Rayanna Amos-Ross Fisher from Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School in Brampton.
Amos-Ross Fisher joins the Bold after a decorated high school career, which saw her capture provincial gold in 2023 as well as representing Team Ontario in 2022.
“We are very excited to welcome Rayanna to the Bold family. She is a talented athlete and has had many different experiences playing at a high level with her club team,” said assistant coach Brett Hagarty of the signing. “She has demonstrated the ability to be a dominant presence at the net with both attacking and blocking.”
A self-described energetic and enthusiastic athlete, Amos-Ross Fisher chose TMU for the community, both in the classroom and on the court.
“I chose TMU because the environment is very welcoming and encouraging,” said Amos-Ross Fisher. “As well as the healthy competitive nature in the gym, which pushes you to be a better player and all around teammate.”
She’ll join the Graphic Communications Management program when she gets on campus, as she looks to help the Bold continue their search for OUA gold.
