Jordan Kerrdyck Named Men’s Volleyball Head Coach at Conestoga College

Conestoga College is excited to welcome Jordan Kerrdyck as the new Head Coach of the Men’s Volleyball team.

“We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Jordan Kerrdyck as the new Head Coach of our Men’s Volleyball program at Conestoga College. Coach Kerrdyck brings a wealth of experience, a proven track record of success, and a dynamic coaching philosophy that will undoubtedly elevate our program to new heights,” said Andrew Bates, Director of Sports and Recreation at Conestoga College.

Jordan brings an impressive and extensive background in volleyball, spanning post-secondary, national, and professional levels. His journey began as a standout player for the University of Waterloo’s Men’s Volleyball team, where he spent five years. During his time with the Warriors, Jordan earned first-team all-star honours and played a crucial role in leading the team to Nationals in his final year. His exceptional performance on and off the court was recognized with the prestigious “Shield of Excellence” award, given to a graduating athlete who demonstrates outstanding achievements in sport, academics, and community service.

Bates added, “We firmly believe that Coach Kerrdyck’s leadership will not only enhance our competitive edge but also create a nurturing environment where our student-athletes can thrive both on and off the court. His focus on holistic player development will ensure that our athletes achieve their fullest potential, academically and athletically.”

In addition to his success at the University of Waterloo, Jordan joined the Canadian Men’s Indoor Volleyball Program, where he had the opportunity to train alongside some of the best athletes and coaches in the world. This experience further honed his skills and deepened his understanding of the game at the highest levels.

Following his playing career, Jordan transitioned to coaching, taking on an assistant coach role with the Warriors and multiple head coaching positions with the KW Predators and Bluevale Collegiate.

“We are confident that under Coach Kerrdyck’s guidance, our Men’s Volleyball team will achieve new milestones and continue to be a source of pride for our college community.”

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Coach Kerrdyck as he embarks on this exciting new chapter with the Condors Men’s Volleyball Program. We look forward to the exciting future ahead for our Men’s Volleyball program under his leadership.

Good luck, Coach!
