Volleyball Canada has announced the roster of the 2021 Indoor Men’s U21 team. The OVA is pleased to share that eleven of the athletes selected hail from Ontario. They include:
- Steven Abrams, Georgetown
- Samuel Cooper, Hamilton
- Michael Donovan, London
- Cole Duncanson, St. Catharines
- Maxime Gratton, Orleans
- Isaac Heslinga, Orangeville
- Cole Ketrzynski, Toronto
- Jonathan Pickett, Wiarton
- Cory Schoenherr, Waterloo
- Erik Siksna, Markham
- Jackson Young, Etobicoke
The athletes selected have the potential to represent Canada at the 2028 Paris Olympic Games and will compete at the FIVB U21 World Championships in Italy/Bulgaria this Fall.
Ontarians selected to the team’s program staff include Ian Eibbitt (Assistant Coach), Gabriel deGroot (Assistant Coach), Jovana Smoljanic (Athletic Therapist) and Wes Chen (Team Coordinator).
The U21 program will begin at the start of July in Gatineau, QC.
