The OVA is a proud partner of the Academy for Student Athlete Development (ASAD). Thanks to this partnership, athletes participating in the volleyball stream benefit from training that is aligned with Team Ontario principles and long term volleyball development principles.
ASAD is the only sports academy in the world for student athletes on able-bodied, Para Sport or Special Olympic pathways, with a focus on supporting the holistic development of each student athlete in a dedicated training environment. The program fosters the opportunity for individuals to achieve their personal goals in athletic performance, academics and life.
ASAD will be offering a volleyball stream in both the London and the Durham regions in 2022-23.
