THREE SPARTANS NAMED TO CANADA’S WOMEN’S VNL 25-PERSON ROSTER

LANGLEY, B.C. – Three Trinity Western University women’s volleyball alums have been named to Canada’s 25-person roster for the 2022 Volleyball Nations League.

The trio includes the recently graduated Avery Heppell (’22, Langley) along with already established Canadian stars Brie King (’19, Langley) and Hilary Howe (’21, Calgary). For both Howe and King, this will be their second chance to compete in the VNL, while Heppell will be hoping to make her VNL debut.

The women’s VNL will begin on May 31, with the Finals in Ankara, Turkey to be played from July 13 to 17.

Canada will play in Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana in Week 1 (May 31 – June 5) and Quezon City, Philippines in Week 2 (June 14-19). before playing at home in Calgary in Week 3 (June 28 – July 3).
