BRANDON, Man. – The Trinity Western Spartans picked up a 3-1 (25-14, 21-25, 25-22, 25-18) win Friday night at the HLC in a back-and-forth affair that could be a playoff preview for next week.

The third set was close until the Bobcats took a 16-11 lead. The Spartans hung around however eventually tying it 21-21 before ending it on a 4-1 run.
The Spartans continued to roll into the fourth, concluding the match with four straight points on serves from substitution John Obi.
