QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Ryan Hofer
“There were a few up-and-down moments this weekend, but I was really pleased with the serving package that we put together from night to night. Saskatchewan serves a tough ball so they put our serve receive under pressure. I really liked our side-out efficiency tonight,
“Overall, I thought that we were steady. We played steady and took care of the small things. We got better with our second ball setting and we got the ball up in the air. We bent on serve receive, but we didn’t break, and gave ourselves opportunities to stay alive.”
Notable
“Saskatchewan did a good job of slowing down a few of our people but we had other people step up and take some volume. Kirsten was really consistent for us tonight, Tamar and Jayda blocked exceptionally well, and Plouffe was really tough to stop.”
