TWU Head Coach Adam Schriemer
“We got off to a slow start in the first set. They came out really hot and especially offensively we had a hard time slowing them down. After that our serve upgraded and I thought we put a lot of pressure on them. It was a cool weekend as we got a lot of guys in and to try out a lot of different lineups. I think one of our advantages is our depth as we have a lot of different guys who can play. This weekend was a good sign of the team we want to be and we are a step in the right direction.”
• The Spartans are 40-4 lifetime against the Heat.
• TWU finished the night hitting at .348 (46-15-89), while UBC-O finished at .218 (40-18-101).
• The Spartans had the edge in kills 46-40, Aces 11-6, blocks 10-4, assists 43-36, and digs, 37-21.
