Adam Schriemer, TWU Head Coach
“I was pleased with our match today. I thought we found consistent service pressure throughout the whole game. I think one of our upgrades as we move into next week is our reception. RMC served the ball at an effective rate and that gave us some challenges. Kyden Dmitruk (Surrey, B.C.) had a good game. I thought he was steady in every phase. It was good to see Ben Pike (Abbotsford, B.C.) get his first start and win in an official match. I thought Devin Hofsink (Kelowna, B.C.) was good for us today with great service pressure and being really effective offensively and stable in the block defence phase. In general, it was a good preseason tournament for us. Overall, I thought we got a lot of productive matches this fall to help us get competition ready for a tough Canada West season.”
