LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western forward Charles Tchouya Nana (Calgary, Alta.) has been named the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week after leading the Spartans to back-to-back wins over the UNBC Timberwolves this past weekend in Prince George, B.C.
On Saturday afternoon the biology student had two shots on goal with one goal and two assist to help lead the Spartans to a 4-3 victory over the Timberwolves in Prince George, B.C. Then on Sunday afternoon the fourth-year had four shots on goal and a natural hattrick, with a career best three goals, to start the match and lead the Spartan to a 6-0 victory over UNBC.
Tchouya Nana and the 4-4-1 Spartans will be hosting the UBC Okanagan Heat and the Thompson Rivers WolfPack this weekend at Chase Office Field. Match time on Friday and Saturday night are set for 7:15 PM and can be seen love on Canada West TV.
