LANGLEY, B.C. –Trinity Western outside hitter Henry Rempel (Swift Current, Sask.) is the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week after averaging 22.5 kills, hitting at .425, with 10 digs, six service aces, and four blocks against the Winnipeg Wesmen Friday and Saturday night in Winnipeg, Man.
On Friday night the fourth-year had 22 kills, hitting at an impressive .526, three services aces, and four digs in the Spartans’ 3-1 loss to the Wesmen.
On Saturday night the human kinetics student had 23 kills, six digs, four blocks, and three aces for 28 points in the Spartans five set, 3-2, loss to Winnipeg.
TWU will be back at the Langley Events Centre this weekend facing the UBC Okanagan Heat. Game time are set for 7 p.m. and 6 p.m. and can be seen live on Canadawest.TV.
