LANGLEY, B.C. – Recent Trinity Western University graduate Jordan Schnitzer (Surrey, B.C.) has signed a professional deal with German Bundesliga side SVG Lüneburg.
Schnitzer will be joining former Spartan Pearce Eshenko (’20, Banff, Alta.) on Lüneburg’s roster for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
After joining the Spartans in the 2019-20 season, Schnitzer’s game took leaps and bounds, earning a starting spot in TWU’s 2021-22 lineup. The middle blocker would make the most of the opportunity given, hitting .406 to finish fourth in Canada West’s hitting percentages leaderboard on 1.97 kills per set.
Schnitzer joins a long list of Spartans who have moved to the professional level after their tenure at TWU.
