Queen’s Women’s Volleyball opened the second half of their regular season on the road in Peterborough, Ont., defeating the Trent Excalibur 3-0 to improve their record on the season to 4-1.
The Excalibur’s record dropped to 2-5 with the loss.
Aimee Lemire (Paris, Ont.) led the Gaels with a game-high nine kills while Natalie Crews (Vancouver, B.C.) added eight aces and four blocks for Queen’s in the win. Mary Stewart (Uxbridge, Ont.) also had eight assists and three blocks for the Gaels.
Queen’s returns to action on Sunday in Toronto, Ont. against the Toronto Varsity Blues (5-0).
