Queen’s Women’s Volleyball beat RMC for third straight win

KINGSTON, Ont. (Feb. 25, 2022) – Queen’s Women’s Volleyball defeated the RMC Paladins in straight sets (25-9, 25-15, 25-22) Friday at the ARC for their third straight win.

Mary Stewart (Uxbridge, Ont.) led the way for Queen’s (No. 10) in the win with a game-high 10 kills and five serving aces. Hannah Duchesneau (Sharon, Ont.) finished with a game-high three blocks while adding six kills and four digs. Lauryn Colpitts (Fredericton, N.B.) recorded 29 assists in the win.

With the win, the Gaels improved their record to 7-2 and are now tied for second in the OUA East Standings with the York Lions. RMC’s record fell to 0-9 with the loss.

Queen’s and RMC will complete their home-and-home series Sunday at 2 p.m. at RMC.
