KINGSTON, Ont. (May 6, 2024) – Queen’s Men’s Volleyball assistant coach Josh Gaudet was named to the coaching staff for Canada’s U21/U23 Men’s team for the U21 NORCECA Championship, Volleyball Canada announced last week.
Gaudet will serve as assistant coach for the team, alongside head coach Daniel Lewis and assistant coach Ghazi Guidara.
Gaudet joined the Gaels last season, helping Queen’s Men’s Volleyball capture the OUA silver medal and finish fourth at the U SPORTS Men’s Volleyball Championship, tying the program’s best finish at the national level.
Prior to his time at Queen’s, Gaudet coached with the Alberta Golden Bears, helping the team earn a U SPORTS National Championship in 2022, as well as Team Alberta’s Men’s U16 team, Sask Volleyball’s Canada Summer Games Training Group, and the University of Saskatchewan Huskies Men’s Volleyball program.
The U21 NORCECA Championship will take place in Mexico in June.
