PACWEST Volleyball Championship

The 2024 volleyball PACWEST championship tournament is set to begin on Friday February 23rd on the campus of Douglas College for the first time since 2020, about a week before the major impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Four teams will qualify for the tournament with the semi-finals set for Friday.  Then Saturday the medal matches will take place with the winner punching their ticket to the National Championship.

Tournament passes for the weekend will be available and details will be released soon.

Meanwhile the championship website is also the official home of the tournament and will feature match previews, summaries, interviews and links to the free web stream.

The winner of the women’s bracket will represent the PACWEST at the CCAA national finals and will travel to Red Deer beginning Wednesday March 6th.  The PACWEST will claim two berths at the nationals with a Conference winner and a wildcard.

On the men’s side they will stay close to home.  The Camosun Chargers will host the national championship beginning on March 7th.  Like the women, the PACWEST will receive two berths at this championship tournament as well, with the Conference champ and the host Chargers.

The PACWEST championship tournament runs on Friday February 23 and Saturday February 24. Matches from both men and women will begin each day at 1:00pm and be broadcasted with a live stream.

Spectators wanting to watch a match live, the tournament pass will be available, and details will be released soon.
