London, ON – The Mustangs used a full team effort to take down the Trent Excalibur 3-0 on Sunday afternoon at Alumni Hall.
Western was led by Blake Fenwick who had 9 kills and 19 total attacks in the win and Josiah Esau had 24 sets and Jason Guy had 12 digs.
The Mustangs took the first set 25-16, then followed that with a 25-15 in the second set and finished off the win with a tightly contested 25-21 win in the third set.
The win moves the Mustangs to 4-3 on the season.
Western will have a pair of games next weekend as they will take on RMC next Friday & Saturday before they take the holiday break. Friday night will be a 6pm starts and Saturday will be a noon start.
