The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s volleyball team fell 3-0 to the No. 3 nationally-ranked McMaster Marauders on Saturday (Jan. 20) night in Hamilton, Ont.
Set scores for the match were 19-25, 21-25, 18-25.
Hunter Arulpragasam finished the game with a team-high 14 points from 11 kills and three solo blocks. Davis Young set up the team’s offence against the Marauders recording 12 assists.
Maxime Gratton led the way for the Marauders tonight, recording 19 points from 13 kills, five service aces and two block assists.
The Blues return to action next Friday (Jan. 26) evening when they take on Royal Military College of Canada at the Goldring Centre. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tickets for home games are available at varsityblues.ca/tickets, while all matches are also streamed online at oua.tv.
