When did you start playing/coaching? At the age of 13

• What are your non-volleyball memories from competing at the Maccabi Games?
• – Creating life lasting memories with other Jewish athletes from all over the world.
• – Getting the opportunity to experience opening/closing ceremonies which was absolutely incredible. The feeling of being surrounded by thousands of Jewish athletes in one setting, one community, in our home land is extremely special
• – Visiting historical sites in Jerusalem and Yad Vashem really connected me with my jewish identity, my ancestors, and Judaism as a whole
• – FOOD
• – Tours!!!
  

• What was your favourite experience with the team before or after the games?
• Practicing as a whole team was a fun experience. We all clicked very well and developed chemistry right away. There was no awkwardness or quietness on the court. We were all excited to meet each other, and created a competitive atmosphere within all the positional groups and our team as a whole. Within the first drill, we all felt unity and connection.

• What is your favorite message to potential future athletes that might be interested in participating?
• If you have the passion and drive to make life-lasting friendships, connect with your Jewish identity, and play competitive volleyball, then this is the trip for you. As someone who has done it twice, I can confidently say that it gets better and better each time you go. It is truly an experience of a lifetime. Not to mention, the coaching staff, medicine team and managers are absolutely incredible.
