Huskies announce commitment of Grace Blaskovits for 2024-25 season

Saint Mary’s women’s volleyball head coach Darren Russell is pleased to announce the commitment of Grace Blaskovits to the Huskies line-up for the 2024-25 Atlantic University Sport season.

A 5’11” setter from West Kelowna, BC, Grace Blaskovits joins the Huskies from Okanagan Mission Secondary School, where she was a BC AAAA Provincial All-Star and AAAA Provincial Gold Medallist. She led her team in digs, aces and kills.

Blaskovits is also a veteran of the British Columbia provincial team program, winning a bronze medal at the 2019 Canada Games and being selected as an all-star at the Canada Cup.

“We are very excited to add Grace Blaskovits to our program,” said Huskies head coach Darren Russell. “Grace is a focused athlete who will bring a calmness to our team. As a setter, she is very consistent from all areas of the court, and can be impactful defensively with her blocking and digging.”

Blaskovits will be studying a Bachelor of Science at Saint Mary’s.
