Syros, GR – Foinikas Syros V.C. have signed outside hitter Max Haronga to a professional contract.
Lange comes to Foinikas Syros from Mount Royal University, where he had 93 sets played, 137 kills, and 168.5 points. Haronga finished seventh place in Canada West this past season in digs with 178.
Max has been a standout player on defense for the Cougars through his tenure in the program and Foinikas Syros V.C. can expect him to be a key contributor to their squad.
Through his career at MRU from 2020-2024 in 263 sets played, he accumulated 505 kills, 84 assists, 68 service aces, 434 digs, and an impressive 622.5 points.
“I’m very excited for Max. It’s always been his dream to play pro and now that’s a reality! There’s no doubt he will make the most of this opportunity and I’m excited to see him play!.” Cougars coach Shawn Sky said.
Foinikas Syros V.C. is a Greek volleyball club from Syros and plays in the A1 Volleyleague.
