FALARDEAU’S 21 KILLS LEAD NO. 5 BLUES TO HARD FOUGHT VICTORY

The No. 5 Blues remained undefeated in 2022, defeating the Rams 3-1 (25-19, 18-25, 25-12, 26-24) on Friday, February 18.

TORONTO STATS: Evan Falardeau had a season-high 25 points off of 21 kills, one ace and three blocks to lead the Blues to victory. Fourth-year outside Mitchell Neuert also added a Blues career-high of 16 kills.

Middles Hayden Cavender and Jakson Paterson would chip in with five kills each.

Veteran libero Daniel Tudor controlled the defence with a season-high 12 digs, while setter Zane Grossinger got a Blues career-high of 48 assists in the win.

UP NEXT: The Blues head to the Mattamy Athletic Centre for the second of their back-to-back series against the Rams on Saturday, February 19. First serve is at 8:00 p.m.
