Cougars WHKY, MVB earn U SPORTS top 10 rankings during the postseason

As one teams move on to the next round and another gears up for their opening playoff series, U SPORTS recognized two Mount Royal teams in their latest top 10 rankings.

Mount Royal women’s hockey team earned the #4 ranking in the country after their quarterfinal sweep over the Manitoba Bisons. The big series win advances them to the next round of the Canada West playoffs for a rematch of last year’s semifinal against the Alberta Pandas. MRU’s men’s volleyball team was given the #4 ranking in the latest national top 10. The Cougars finished second overall in the Canada West standings after a weekend split with the TRU Wolfpack.
