Dalhousie Tigers men’s volleyball head coach Dan Ota is pleased to announce the commitment of Lucas Condon-Oldreive for the 2022-23 season.
Hailing from Porters Lake, Nova Scotia, Condon-Oldreive has been a member of the Dartmouth Volleyball Club for three years. A 6’7 middle, he has also played for Team Nova Scotia for three years with the U16 and U18 teams.
Condon-Oldreive earned high honours in grade 11 at Prince Andew High School last school year.
“I’m very excited to be playing volleyball with the Tigers next year,” says Condon-Oldreive. “I am eager to improve my volleyball skills with coach Dan during my time with the Tigers.”
Off the court, Condon-Oldreive will be studying engineering at Dalhousie.
“Lucas is a physical middle with lots of upside,” says Ota. “He’s shown constant improvement, which is very encouraging when I think of how good he could become in our program. We’re very excited to have him join our team for next season.”
The Tigers return to the court January 14 when they host the Sherbrooke Vert et Or.
