This Summer, the OVA is bringing back coaching on the OVA Beach Tour! Coaching is only allowed at the 16U and younger age group.
When they arrive at their Beach Tour event, coaches must check in at the control tent where they will receive a coaching badge that needs to be worn. The badge must and visible at all times.
If coaches plan on coaching at an upcoming event, they must complete the requirements below before the Wednesday prior to event at 11:59 p.m. in order to be included in the coaching list for the tournament.
The coaching requirements for the Beach Tour include:
- Be a registered beach coach on MRS.
- Complete the Screening Disclosure Form.
- Submit a Vulnerable Sector Screen or Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC) completed within three (3) years.
- Complete Making HeadWay
- Complete Safe Sport
- Complete Making Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation
- Complete Foundations of Volleyball
Once these are completed, we will see you at check in!
