OVA coaches interested in being involved in Team Ontario and Athlete Development programs have until Sunday, December 5 to submit their applications.
The 2022 program year will be an exciting one as in-person training returns with the addition of the Canada Summer Games and Ontario Summer Games taking place after a year of postponement.
The Athlete Development team is seeking coaches for the following indoor and beach programs:
- Regional Program
- Tall Maples
- Team Ontario Black
- Team Ontario Red
- Team Ontario Beach
- Beach Fulltime Training Group (FTG)
Those interested in coaching for Team Ontario must be a registered OVA member in good standing with the OVA and Volleyball Canada. Applicants must also:
- have a valid Vulnerable Sector Screening & Police Record Check as well as a completed OVA Screening Disclosure For
- have completed the following four modules available online:
- Foundations of Volleyball
- Making Ethical Decision Online Evaluation
- Making Head Way
- CAC Safe Sport Training
