Club Tryouts Begin: The road to the 2021-22 indoor season is underway

As of August 16, 2021 OVA Club Tryouts and Athlete Application process have begun and clubs may begin to host tryouts for the upcoming 2021-22 indoor season. All OVA Return to Play protocols must be followed when running on-court tryouts.

Prior to attending tryouts, athletes must register in the Membership Registration System (MRS). Please read our previous article that explains the requirements for new and returning athletes. Athletes must verify at their club’s tryouts that they have completed their membership in the OVA MRS through a physical receipt (printed) or through their smartphone upon check-in at their tryout.

Clubs are not permitted to send any offers to athletes who attend tryouts or apply using the OVA application form until the specified time period for each age division or grouping. All offers that are sent must be honoured for 36 hours or until the date and time indicated on the offer form. Offer forms must include the Club Name, Head Coach, Team Name, Age Division or Grouping* and Expected Base Club Fee.
