Canadian Referees Well-Represented at Paris 2024

Volleyball Canada congratulates the referees and officials named to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
 
“On behalf of the National Referee Committee, I would like to congratulate the members of our referee family for being invited to attend the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games,” said Scott Borys, chair of Volleyball Canada’s National Referee Committee. “What an incredible achievement for our volleyball community. It is a testament to the strength of the referee programs we have in Canada, along with how respected our referees are on the world stage.”
 
The following Canadian officials have received an invitation from the FIVB to attend the 2024 Paris Olympic Games:
 
Beach Volleyball (July 27 to Aug. 10)

Lucie Guillemette (Quebec) – Challenge Referee
Brian Hiebert (British Columbia) – Referee
Andre Trottier (Quebec) – Referee Coach
Ed Drakich (Ontario) – International Technical Official
 
Volleyball (July 27 to Aug. 11)

Scott Dziewirz  (Quebec) – Referee
Guy Bradbury (Ontario/Newfoundland and Labrador) – Referee Coach
 
The following referees have received an invitation to attend the 2024 Paralympic Games:
 
Sitting Volleyball (Aug. 29 to Sept. 07)

Neal Konowalyk (Alberta)
Marie-Claude Richer (Québec) – shown below in 2021
