Brock University’s Sara Rohr of the women’s volleyball team was named a finalist for the U SPORTS Female Athlete of the Year on Thursday, May 23.
A graduate student from Milton, Rohr is one of four female student-athletes in contention for the title, which will be awarded at a ceremony on Monday, June 10, in Calgary.
Finalists include Rohr, Jayda Veinot (basketball) of the University of New Brunswick, Laval University’s Audrey Leduc (track and field) and Katalin Tolnai (soccer) of the University of British Columbia.
