Bella Noble to Represent Nova Scotia in National Excellence Program

Bella Noble, 17 years old and from Chester, Nova Scotia will be the only player east of Ontario to make Volleyball Canada’s National Excellence Program.

 
Halifax, N.S. – Bella Noble, 17 years old and from Chester, Nova Scotia will be the only player east of Ontario to make Volleyball Canada’s National Excellence Program. 
 
The National Excellence Program brings together Canada’s 15 best  young female volleyball players to train under Team Canada’s Next Gen Head Coach, Shannon Winzer. Training takes place in Richmond, BC from September to January of next year.
 
“We are very excited for and proud of Bella in her selection to the National Excellence Program. To be identified in the top 16 athletes for her age group in the country is a substantial achievement and Bella has worked extremely hard, and been an exceptionally dedicated athlete, which has helped her achieve this goal.” Says Megan Conroy, Technical Director at Volleyball Nova Scotia, “VNS is also proud of our local Volleyball and Integrated Support Team coaches who have supported Bella in pursuing this level of excellence, including our partnership with the Canadian Sport Center – Atlantic.”.
 
“I am thrilled to be a part of this program. I am so excited to meet new people and to be coached at a national level!” Says Bella Noble, “This is a big step working towards my ultimate goal of bringing home a medal one day for Team Canada at the Olympics. I am so thankful for everyone who has played a role and pushed me to get where I am in my volleyball career today.”
