The No. 3 Varsity Blues took down the visiting Nipissing Lakers in four sets (25-19, 23-25, 25-22, 25-22) on Friday, March 4.
TORONTO STATS: Four Varsity Blues hitters finished with at least seven kills in the four-set win.
Leading the charge was third-year left side Evan Falardeau, who had a team-high 16 points off of 14 kills and two service aces. Middle Jakson Paterson had a .500 hitting percentage, adding nine kills and 1.5 blocks in the victory.
Outside hitter Martin Licht and his brother, middle Benedikt Licht, finished with seven kills each.
Fourth-year libero Daniel Tudor had 12 digs, while setter Zane Grossinger notched 37 assists.
UP NEXT: The Blues will take on the Nipissing Lakers tomorrow (Mar. 5) as they host OVA day and senior day at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. First serve is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
