Second-year outside hitter Audrey Odigie was named an RSEQ conference all-star for 2023-2024. Odigie was named to the First Team of All-Stars and notably led the conference in both kills per set and points per set.
Averaging 4.42 points per set, Odigie recorded a career high with 3.88 kills per set and added 0.29 blocks pet set. This is the first All-Star recognition for the finance student from Brampton, Ont.
With 25 service aces, Odigie ranked thirteenth in the conference with 0.32 service aces per set. Defensively, her 2.29 digs per set tied for fourteenth in the conference and was second on the Gee-Gees. Odigie recorded 299 total kills, leading the Gee-Gees.
Odigie’s play helped lift Ottawa to a 10-11 regular season record in 2023-2024, the team’s final season as part of the RSEQ conference. The Gee-Gees will re-join the OUA Conference when the 2024-25 season opens in October.
