The Bisons volleyball team has secured the commitment of one of the top middles in Manitoba, announcing that Chris Redmann has signed with the team for 2025-26.
A local product, the 6’8″ Redmann has been a club and league all-star, earning accolades in the former with 204 Gold multiple seasons, along with the Dakota Lancers at the SCAC level in 2024.
Redmann is the No. 8 ranked student-athlete in the province, and averaged 11 kills and four blocks per game this past season for Dakota. He was also a captain for the Lancers, and played for Team Manitoba.
Redmann aspires to study Environmental Science for his degree.
“I chose U of M because I believe it’s a program that will help me excel on the court and in the classroom,” he said. Being able to play for a team like this in front of my hometown is a really special opportunity.”
