PREVIEW: Women’s volleyball set for regular season finale on home court

• The Matchup: Ottawa Gee-Gees (10-9) vs Montreal Carabins (15-4)

OTTAWA GAME NOTES

• Major stat leaders
• The Gee-Gees will be completing their three-game stretch on the road with a third matchup with the Carabins. In previous meetings, the Gee-Gees fell 3-2, and most recently won 3-0 over the Carabins.
• Ottawa has a winning record on home court, going 6-3 at Montpetit Hall. One of those losses came at the hands of UQAM, who Ottawa has yet to get the best of this season, falling 3-1 in both of their previous meetings.
• In their loss to McGill over the weekend, Grace McKale led the way for the Gee-Gees with 12 kills, five digs, and four service aces.

• Montreal currently sits at the top of the RSEQ standings heading into the final weekend of action.
• The Carabins had their ten-game winning streak snapped in a 3-0 loss to the Sherbrooke Vert et Or. The team bounced back the following weekend, defeating the Laval Rouge et Or 3-0 on the road.
• Montreal has struggled against Ottawa this season, being forced into a tight fifth set in their first meeting and being unable to take a set against the Gee-Gees in their second game. Montreal will be looking to put away Ottawa early in their final battle of the regular season.

• UQAM is undefeated against Ottawa this season, defeating the Gee-gees 3-1 in both of their previous meetings.
• While the Citadins earned a road win at Montpetit Hall in November, they have posted a 4-5 record on the road, falling in their last three road games.
• The Citadins have conceded two sets to the Gee-Gees this season, 25-15 and 25-21 respectively.
