- The Gee-Gees will be completing their three-game stretch on the road with a third matchup with the Carabins. In previous meetings, the Gee-Gees fell 3-2, and most recently won 3-0 over the Carabins.
- Ottawa has a winning record on home court, going 6-3 at Montpetit Hall. One of those losses came at the hands of UQAM, who Ottawa has yet to get the best of this season, falling 3-1 in both of their previous meetings.

- The Carabins had their ten-game winning streak snapped in a 3-0 loss to the Sherbrooke Vert et Or. The team bounced back the following weekend, defeating the Laval Rouge et Or 3-0 on the road.
- Montreal has struggled against Ottawa this season, being forced into a tight fifth set in their first meeting and being unable to take a set against the Gee-Gees in their second game. Montreal will be looking to put away Ottawa early in their final battle of the regular season.
