Warriors drop final road game of 2022 to Blues

Men’s volleyball fell to the Toronto Varsity Blues on Saturday night in their final road game of 2022. It has been a tough start to the season for the Warriors as they dropped their sixth straight game to start the 2022-23 season but they continue to battle and will find a way to get their season back on track.

Leading the way offensively for Waterloo was Liam MacArthur (Cambridge, ON/) who put down 15 kills on just 31 attempts for a .323 hitting percentage. Nolan Spencer (Kitchener, ON/) was also in double digits with 10 kills while also leading the way defensively with seven digs. Setting up the Warrior attack with Logan Wenzel (Salt Spring Island, BC/) who had 25 assists in the match.

The Warriors will look to get their first win of the season as they take on Nipissing in back-to-back home matches to close out 2022 this upcoming weekend. Match times are Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 6pm.
