WolfPack volleyball postponed, basketball to face new opponent

The devastating flooding in British Columbia has led to the rescheduling of a few Canada West volleyball games.

KAMLOOPS – The Canada West announced changes to its volleyball and basketball schedules on Tuesday as flooding in British Columbia continues to impact travel in the province.

Both the Thompson Rivers WolfPack basketball and volleyball teams were impacted. The basketball teams will host a new opponent this weekend, while the volleyball squads will have their weekend of games rescheduled.

Originally scheduled to host the Trinity Western Spartans this weekend, the WolfPack men’s and women’s basketball teams will instead welcome Interior rivals, the UBC Okanagan Heat. The games will still take place during the previously scheduled times of Friday at 5 and 7 p.m. and Saturday at 3 and 5 p.m. inside the TCC.

Meanwhile, for the WolfPack women’s and men’s volleyball teams their games against the Fraser Valley Cascades this weekend have been postponed to February 4-5. The women will play at 6 and 3 p.m., while the men will play at 8 and 5 p.m. in Abbotsford in early February.

Games originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 27:
Thompson Rivers at Fraser Valley –> Postponed to Feb. 5
