KOTUN’S CAREER-HIGH 17 KILLS LEADS BLUES TO VICTORY

TORONTO STATS: Third-year outside hitter Hope Kotun had a game to remember as she finished the day with a career best 17 kills and 11 digs. Julia Murmann, a rookie outside hitter, was not far behind, finishing with 16.5 points from 14 kills, two aces, and one block assist.

Middle Jenna Woock finished with six kills, two block assists, and one service ace.

Fifth-year libero Sophia Currier led all Blues with 17 digs, while Murmann finished with 13.

Toronto setter Hayley Goodwin steadied the Blues offence with a game-high 40 assists.

The Blues defence was on full display in this contest as they had 62 digs, 10 more than their crosstown rivals.

UP NEXT: The Blues head to Peterborough to take on the Trent Excalibur on Friday, November 26. First serve is at 5:30 p.m.
